Victory Icon Collection by NeWhoa Victory Icon Collection by NeWhoa
Taking this down for now. It's old and deprecated. Hope to replace it with a newer version in the next few months.

Thank you!

Like I've said before, though, it's mostly just a mix of elementary, nuoveXT, and meliae icon sets with just a few I've made.

Thanks again!

Hi, this is an incredible icon set :D ...

BTW, I'm looking for someone to create an icon theme for the Ambiance Evolution GTK Theme [link]

Could you please help me?

Hi, thanks so much! I can't take much credit, though, it's just mostly a mashup of elementary and nuoveXT for now.

I really like your GTK theme, too. It's very nice!

About the icon theme, sorry, I don't have a lot of time right now, and I'm trying to maintain this icon theme, which is enough to keep me very busy. So I won't be able to start another project right now. I appreciate the offer, though.

a very nice theme! but the folder-documents, folder-video, folder-images icons in the 22, 24, 32, 48, 64, 72, 96, 128 folders are not included. that's the only issue I found.

Ok... I found a solution thanks to NutMonkey and others in this thread [link]

I downloaded symlinks (Ubuntu: sudo apt-get install symlinks). After that, Just run in the terminal:

symlinks -cr "/home/yournamehere/.icons/Victory Icon Collection/"

That should fix them all. I reuploaded the file, so it should be fixed.

I know this doesn't fix not having unique icons for those folders, sorry... but this should at least be a good hold over solution until I can get all of those created. I've already started working on them, and reworking ones I've already done, so it should look nicer when it's finished - it is a long process, though.

Anyway, thanks again. Let me know if the reupload or command line solution works!

Hey, thanks! Glad you like it. Thanks for pointing that out... I just realized all the links I make are being made as absolute links so they're pointing specifically to my personal home folder! They should be pointing to other files within the Victory Icon Collection folder on any pc. Man... I wonder how many icons aren't working because of this!

For the folders you mentioned, I had them pointing to the normal folder icon as a temporary solution until I had time to create the other sizes. I made unique icons for those folders at 16x16 for the sidebar.

Anyway, if I find a fix that can switch absolute links to relative (or if anyone reading can help me out here)... I'll be sure to post it. And hopefully update the zip to fix that.

I'm glad you told me, though, cause I've already started creating some of the folders, and I've made a lot of links... so it would be really bad if I finished and none of them worked on any other computer! Haha.

Thanks again!
