Victory Icon Collection is a Gnome, XFCE, LXDE, and general Gtk Icon Theme. It is a collection of icons from several great icon themes (A huge thanks to these artists with credits below), with many modifications, and a few new icons. It is a work in progress and may be incomplete in some respects.
The panel icons are very light, so it's probably best to use a dark panel.
Any feedback would be great - let me know what you like or don't like. If there are any problems, missing icons, or inconsistencies, let me know. If you would like to contribute to fix anything, add new icons, or better the theme in any way, feel free!
Thanks, and hope everyone enjoys!

How To Install:
- If upgrading, be sure to delete or move the old Victory Icon Collection folder in /home/yournamehere/.icons
1. Download the Zip file, extract it. 2. Find the tar.gz file you just extracted, and extract that. 3. Put the Victory Icon Collection folder in /home/yournamehere/.icons
Use your desktops icon manager, usually found under the system menu (System > Appearance), to select the icon theme - or run:
In step 3, If you don't have a .icon folder, create one first.
Sorry, it is a compressed file inside a compressed file - deviantART won't allow uploads of tar.gz files.

About:
This is an icon theme I was playing around with a few months ago. I wanted to play around with Inkscape and SVG graphics since I never had before, so learning with icons seemed like a good way to do it.
I really like the NuoveXT 2 icon set, but it hasn't been updated in a while. I also like the elementary icon theme, so I thought I'd put the two together. It gives me a chance to make a few preferential changes anyway.
A huge thanks to Alexandre Moore (NuoveXT), Daniel Fore (elementary) & Ubuntu (Humanity), Andrea Soragna (Meliae SVG), and everyone involved with the creation of those icon sets. This is simply a collection, with very little original content, so credit (and Donations if possible!) should be given entirely to the respective authors/artists. Additional credits, contact information, and more information is provided in the download.

Fixed the May 23 upload (hopefully). I was unaware that all icon links being made were pointing to an absolute path. This means a lot of icons probably weren't working! Hopefully this fixes it. Sorry for the problems!
That's all I can remember. I don't keep track of changes as I make them, so the changelog here might be a little fuzzy. This set is bound to be incomplete and full of inconsistencies. Let me know.
Hey, thanks! Glad you like it. Thanks for pointing that out... I just realized all the links I make are being made as absolute links so they're pointing specifically to my personal home folder! They should be pointing to other files within the Victory Icon Collection folder on any pc. Man... I wonder how many icons aren't working because of this!
For the folders you mentioned, I had them pointing to the normal folder icon as a temporary solution until I had time to create the other sizes. I made unique icons for those folders at 16x16 for the sidebar.
Anyway, if I find a fix that can switch absolute links to relative (or if anyone reading can help me out here)... I'll be sure to post it. And hopefully update the zip to fix that.
I'm glad you told me, though, cause I've already started creating some of the folders, and I've made a lot of links... so it would be really bad if I finished and none of them worked on any other computer! Haha.
